SD3228B 3-Phase intelligent hybrid stepper driver is designed for MOTEC SM3 series 2.0~50Nm 3-Phase hybrid stepper motors with 220VAC voltage and 8.0A max phase current. SD3228B is an intelligent stepper motor drive with integrated motion controller, internal PLC and stepper drive. SD3228B has its local I/O and and various of network options including Canopen, RS23/485 (Modbus). Users can build up cost effective multi-point motion control applications using SB3228B or simply program a single axis application and let it run under standalone control mode.SD3228B is made with high quality components resulting high reliability and stability and can also be controller with pulse/direction and CW/CCW control signals. It is a cost effective 3-Phase stepper driver using MOTEC patent technologies featuring low heat production, low speed (as low as 1rpm) stability and relatively high torque at high speed etc.

SD3228B Dimensions(mm)
SD3228B can be used to drive NEMA34(85mm) NEMA42(110mm), NEMA51(132mm) motors from MOTEC with a holding torque range from 2.0 to 50N.m. It is recommended to use MOTEC 3-phase stepper motor with SD3228B stepper drive however most 3-phase stepper motor on the market are compatible.
