SD388 3-Phase hybrid stepper driver is designed to drive MOTEC SM3 series NEMA23(57mm) and NEMA34(85mm) 3-Phase hybrid stepper Motors with 18~80VDC input voltage and 8.0A max phase current. SD388 is made with high quality components resulting high reliability and stability and can be controller with pulse/direction and CW/CCW control signals. It is a cost effective 3-Phase stepper driver using MOTEC patent technologies featuring low heat production, low speed (as low as 1rpm) stability and relatively high torque at high speed etc.
l Low noise benefit from full micro-step smoothing technologies.
l Max input response frequency：140KHZ.
l Two LED lights. Power light will turn on when there is input voltage. Status light will flash when there is an alert. The number of the flash times indicates alert code.
l Power supply: 18~80VDC
l Output Current: 0～8A（Peak). Adjustable with DIP switches.
l Auto-Half-Current function: Output current will anatomically reduced 50% when there’s no pulse input for a certain period.
l Micro-step: 500 ～ 60000（pulse/turn). Adjustable with DIP switches.
SD388 Dimensions(mm)
SD388 can be used to drive NEMA23 (57mm) and NEMA 34(85mm) motors from MOTEC with a holding torque range from 0.45 to 6.0N.m. It is recommended to use MOTEC 3-phase stepper motor with SD388 stepper drive however most 3-phase stepper motor on the market are compatible.
