SD388B 3-Phase intelligent hybrid stepper driver is designed for MOTEC SM3 series 0.4~6Nm 3-Phase hybrid stepper motors with 18~80VDC input voltage and 8.0A max phase current. SD388B is an intelligent stepper motor drive with integrated motion controller, internal PLC and stepper drive. SD388B has its local I/O and and various of network options including Canopen, RS23/485 (Modbus).
Users can build up cost effective multi-point motion control applications using SB388B or simply program a single axis application and let it run under standalone control mode.SD388B is made with high quality components resulting high reliability and stability and can also be controller with pulse/direction and CW/CCW control signals. It is a cost effective 3-Phase stepper driver using MOTEC patent technologies featuring low heat production, low speed (as low as 1rpm) stability and relatively high torque at high speed etc.

SD388B can be used to drive NEMA23 (57mm) and NEMA 34(85mm) motors from MOTEC with a holding torque range from 0.45 to 6.0N.m. It is recommended to use MOTEC 3-phase stepper motor with SD388B stepper drive however most 3-phase stepper motor on the market are compatible.
