SD2118 2-Phase hybrid stepper driver is designed to drive MOTEC SM2 series NEMA34(85mm) 2-Phase hybrid stepper Motors with 30~110VAC or 40~150VDC input voltage and 8.0A max phase current. SD2118 is made with high quality components resulting high reliability and stability and can be controller with pulse/direction and CW/CCW control signals. It is a cost effective2-Phase stepper driver using MOTEC patent technologies featuring low heat production, low speed (as low as 1rpm) stability and relatively high torque at high speed etc.
*Low noise benefit from full micro-step smoothing technologies.
*Max input response frequency：140KHZ.
*Position memory function: SD2118 can memorize the position of stepper motor when power is off. When power is restored SD2118 can drive the motor to the memorized position where power was lost.
*Two LED lights. Power light will turn on when there is input voltage. Status light will flash when there is an alert. The number of the flash times indicates alert code.
*Power supply: 30~110VAC or 40~150VDC
*Output Current：0 ～ 8A（Peak). Adjustable with DIP switches.
*Auto-Half-Current function: Output current will anatomically reduced 50% when there’s no pulse input for a certain period.
*Micro-step:400 ～ 60000（pulse/turn). Adjustable with DIP switches.
SD2118 Dimensions(mm)
SD2118 can be used to drive NEMA34 (85mm)motors from MOTEC with a holding torque range from 3.0 to 10N.m. It is recommended to use MOTEC 2-phase stepper motor with SD2118 stepper drive however most 2-phase stepper motor on the market are compatible.
