Generate a New Insertion Without BEC   
Prerequisites:

. The board must be positioned in the workboard holder. To generate a new insertion: 
Before initiating any move command, make sure the head is in the up position to prevent tooling damage.

Components > Insertion List > Options > Teach Insertions 
A prompt asks to place the machine in setup mode.

Select Component > New.

(Optional) If a specific reference ID is desired, enter the value in the Ref ID field. If no reference ID is entered, the Product Editor enters a default value when the insertion is created.

Move the cursor to the Component ID data field and click once.

From the Categories list box of the Component List, select the com-ponent category.

 From the Components list box of the Component List, double-click on the component ID.

Tab to the Theta data field and enter the theta value. This defines the orientation of the component on the board.

Use the increment selector and the movement arrows to jog the appro-priate head to the location.

Close the air valve to the head and lower the spindle to verify the loca-tion.

Select Update. This enters the new table position in the X Pos and Y Pos fields.

From the Insertion List window menu bar, select Component > In-sert. A message indicates the component insertion was successfully created.

Repeat steps 3 - 12 for each new insertion.

When all insertions have been defined, select Done.

Save the product to retain the insertion locations. 
The product reference and/or machine reference may have to be adjusted before the product can be saved as a valid product.
