EDI ultrapure water equipment, which is remove the ions with electricity continuously, we call it EDI, which is the ion exchange technology, the manufacturing pure water technology with the combination of ion exchange membrane technology and ion electromigration technology, which is the gree technology.
EDI ultrapure water treatment equipment has many advantages, such as continuous output, no need of acid-base regeneration, no need of unattendance and so on, which has developed to the fine treatment equipment to prepare pure water and replaced the mixed bed.
EDI ultrapure water treatment equipment is green, the operation is simple, which has been accepted by more and more people, which has been widely used in many industries, such as medicals, electronics, electricity, chemicals and so on.
Operation principle of EDI ultrapure water treatment equipment:
Electrodeionization system is with the action of direct current electric-field, take use of selective permeability of exchange membrane to purify the water. Between the double electrodes of electrodialyzer, there are anion membrane, cation membrane and clapboard (JIA, YI) rank alternatively, which will form to the strong chamber and fresh chamber(cation can permeate the cation membrane, anion can permeate the anion membrane). The cation in the fresh chamber will migrate to negative electrode and then permeate the cation membrane, intercepted by anion membrane in the strong chamber; the anion in the water will migrate to positive electrode and then permeate the anion membrane, intercepted by cation membrane in the strong chamber, thus the ions in water of fresh chamber will be less and less, become the fresh water, the water in the strong chamber, because the continuous anion and cation enter into the strong chamber, density of dielectric medium ions will be risen increasingly, then become the strong water, thus we can achieve the purpose of desalinization, purification, concentration and so on.
Advantages of EDI ultrapure water treatment equipment:
1. No need of acid-base regeneration:mixed bed resin needs the chemicals to have the acid-base regeneration, EDI can eliminate these harmful substances, thus protect the environment.
2. Continuous and simple operation: many times of regeneration and changes of water quality which make the process more complex, the output process of EDI is stable and continuous, and the water quality is constant, there is no complex operations, the operation is simplified.
3. Reduce the requirements of installation: compared with mixed bed, EDI system needs the smaller area, which is building blocks structure, which is constructed according to the height of field and the flexible frame. Modular design will make the manufacturing more easier.
