V300 Vertical Profile Doppler Wind LIDAR

 

 

Doppler Lidar is a tool capable of measuring the wind accurately. In areas such as wind power generation facilities and wind farms. The Doppler Lidar can provide wind conditions remotely and in real time—something that cannot be done with conventional systems equipped with anemometers.

 

Doppler wind lidar can be a part of intelligent wind power control system for offshore and onshore wind farms measurement and establishment of "big data +" and "wind turbine internet" . Measurement accuracy is up to 0.1-0.5m/s, highly reliable, can compete against foreign counterparts.

 

Doppler wind lidar, as a new generation of wind resources measurement tool, can improve the efficiency of wind power generation by 3-10%, extend work efficiency over 10%.

INTRODUCTION

The V300 Vertical Profile Wind Lidar meets the IEC 61400-12-1 standard of wind measurement. It is an economic choice of wind measurement for the power curve determination and estimation, wind farm operation and maintenance, pre-evaluation, initial site assessment.

V300 is a pulse coherent Doppler wind lidar which is developed for wind power users, featured compact, high precision and low power consumption. It has great potential and important application value in the field of aviation meteorology, meteorological fields, research institutes.

V300 uses the Doppler Beam Swinging (DBS) configuration which can probe the wind speed and direction profile from 40m to 240m(up to 300m), it can capture wind profile in a very high spatial(≤0.1m/s) and temporal resolution (1s data sampling rate).

V300 is featured portable, unsupervised, low power consumption, no electromagnetic interference, GPRS wireless transmission, and therefore can operate in harsh environments outside.
