Limestone Powder Vertical Roller Mill in Construction Equipment
With two decades of R&D and introduction of foreign advanced technology, the HLM vertical mill comes into being, featuring in a combination of drying, grinding, classifying and conveying.
HongCheng HLM vertical mill has the following advantages: efficient grinding, lower power consumption, larger feeding size, adjustable fineness, simple process flow, space-saving, lower noise, no air pollution, easy maintenance, lower operation cost, longer working life of wearing parts etc.. HLM vertical mill is widely used in power, metallurgical, cement, chemical and non-metallic industry, such as cement raw material, clinker, limestone, slag, manganese, gypsum, coal, barite, calcite etc.
The centrifugal force generated by the rotating table driven by the reducer make the raw material goes between the roller and grinding table. The raw material is ground at the force of crushing, grinding and shearing. The air flow from the fan makes the pulverized powder goes up. Through the classifier, the coarse powder falls down onto the table for regrinding and the qualified finer with the air flow goes into the pulse-jet collector. The finer powder is collected in the pulse-jet collector. And the clean air goes out from the pulse jet collector.

1. Higher Efficiency:
- Higher grinding efficiency, lower power consumption (40%-50% less than ball mill);
- Higher production capacity, off-peak power can be used.
2. Easy Maintenance and Lower Operation Cost:
- The roller can be pulled out by the hydraulic device, which is convenient for plate-replacement and bigger maintenance space.
- Left and right side of the roller cover can both be used for prolonging the working life.
- Without raw material on the grinding table, the mill can run, which erases the difficulty in starting.
- The roller and grinding table are made from special material for longer working life.
3. Lower Investment:
- Combination of crushing, drying, grinding and conveying, simple process flow, reasonable and compact layout, space-saving (50% less than ball mill), lower foundation cost and workshop cost in the field.
4. Stable Powder Quality:
- Short-time stay of the raw material in the mill, which is easy for the powder fineness and components analysis.
- Regular powder shape, narrow size fineness, easy fluidity, extensive application.
5. Reliability:
- Roller with height-controlled device, which could avoid strong vibration called by the lack of material on the table.
- Newly-designed roller sealing component ensures the reliable sealing without sealing the fan, which can lower the oxygen content in the mill to prevent the possibility of explosion.
