1.Description of Drum Sieve:

  This series of rotary screen are always used in processing minerals such as ferrous metals including hematite & magnetite And nonferrous metals including Lead, Zinc, Gold and Silver etc. This machine works in a re-circulating network with Ball mill, which can upgrade the fineness of ferrous and nonferrous metals. Its efficiency is twice as that of Spiral Classifier.

4.Working Principle of Drum Sieve:

  Rotary screen is consist of five parts as drum, frame, hopper, reducer and motor. After the material into the drum, on one hand, materials being screened along with the rotation of drum, on the other hand, the bigger materials flow forward along the direction of slope and be separated by the screen with different numbers of meshes. The different materials fall into different hoppers and then are sent to different finished product stacks by manpower or belt conveyor.

Operation and Maintanance of  rotating drum sieve

1, First open the cage while driving screen, opens after feeding equipment; stopping the opposite;

2, Run three days before, to cage drum sieve every day check fasteners, if loose fastening in a timely manner. Periodically thereafter (or a week and a half month) cage screen fastener for checking and processing;

3, Housings, transmission should be checked periodically lubricating and fuel and oil in a timely manner. Axis bearings, 2nd lithium base grease, under normal circumstances, every two months filling grease, amount raised should not be excessive, otherwise easily cause bearing overheating. Bearings should be cleaned check once a year.

4, The long haul deactivate (more than 30 days) to restart the motor insulation should be shaking when measuring to avoid motor burn.
