Brown Fused Alumina Description:
Brown Fused Alumina can be for the manufacture of advanced refractories, castable and refractory bricks. Brown Fused Alumina has characteristics of high purity, good crystalline liquidity, low coefficient of linear expansion and corrosion-resistant. Dozens of refractory manufacturers have proved in practice that Brown Fused Alumina has features of no detonate, no powder, no crack in the application process. Brown Fused Alumina Raw materials:
1. bauxite: main raw material of smelting corundum, corundum ceramics and single crystal corundum. Bauxite, also known as alumina, main content is aluminum trihydrate (Al203 3H20), boehmite (A1203 H20), as well as mixtures of opal, hematite, goethite and other minor components. It has requirements on chemical composition, degree of dehydration, melting point and the block for the production of brown corundum.
2. carbon materials: reducing agent of corundum smelting, commonly used material are petroleum coke and anthracite.
3. iron: refining agent and diluents for corundum smelting and dilution of silicon alloy density, commonly used materials are steel scrap, cast iron scrap.
