The main mineral composition of Al-Cr brick is α-Al2O3-Cr2O3 solid solution. The secondary mineral composition is a small amount of composite spinel (or without composite spinel), the content of chromium oxide 1% to 30%. There are 2 kinds of Al-Cr brick: casting Al-Cr brick and sintered Al-Cr brick. Under normal circumstances, Al-Cr brick refers to the sintered Al-Cr brick.
At present, the application of Al-Cr brick has wide application, i.e. chrome corundum bricks made of metal chromium slag, which is widely used in zinc smelting furnace, volatile kiln. Chrome corundum brick has excellent thermal vibration stability and high temperature creep performance, at the same time it is in line with national recycling economy requirements.
