Iron Ore Beneficiation Line Brief introduction
Iron ore magnetic separation line always consists of vibrating feeder, chute feeder, jaw crusher, vibrating screen, ball mill, classifier, magnetic separator, thickener, dryer and other main equipments, matched with elevator and belt conveyors, a complete ore separation line is formed.
It applies to wet magnetic separation for magnetite, pyrrhotite, calcined ore, ilmenite, etc. with size below 3mm. It’s also widely used in iron removing operation in coal, non-metal ores, building materials and so on.
Iron Ore Beneficiation Line Technological process
The draft magnetic separation line flowing is: (Hopper)----Feeder----Jaw crusher----Fine jaw crusher----Ball mill----Spiral classifier----Magnetic separator(to get the fine powder), equipments will be connected by belt conveyors.
The ore is first sent to the jaw crusher for primary crushing. Then the ore with a proper size for secondary crushing will be sent into the ball mill for fine crushing and grinding.
The ore powder discharged from the ball mill will be sent to the next procedure: classifying. Because of the different sedimentation rate due to the varied specific gravity, spiral classifier can clean and grade the ore mixture. The cleaned and graded mixture is sent to magnetic separator, due to the different susceptibility, magnetic substance can be separated from the mixture under magnetic and mechanical force.
Iron Ore Beneficiation Line Features
The new type environmental protective magnetic separation line, combines both dry and wet magnetic separation crafts, the main process is magnetic separating mineral powder three times. Magnetic field intensity normally is 400~1200GS, and rotation speed for magnetic roller is 60~320r/min. Final iron concentrate powder can be got from wet materials through dewatering. Generally speaking, using this separation process, ores with Fe content 35%, can get final concentrate powder with Fe content 68%~70%, thus the utilization of ores can reach 90%. This magnetic separation line is a creative craft has the features of high production ratio, low water consumption, good quality output , no environmental pollution and so on.
