Brief Introduction of Spiral Screw Conveyor
LSY series screw conveyor is a special equipment that uses rotating spiral blades to propel materials
continuously in a closed shell with circular section. such as gear box, blades, universal joint, etc.
Applications of Spiral Screw Conveyor
It is widely used to transport various powdery, granular, small block bulk materials, such as cement, fly ash,
clay powder, etc. not suitable for the materials with big viscosity, easy to clump or degrade.
Application and Feature of Spiral Screw Conveyor
1) Helical conveyor mainly includes the helical, the groove, hanger, feeding and discharging mouth, transmission device and other parts.
2) It conveys power and small pieces of material.
3) The pattern in tank adopts steel pipe conveying tube which has the advantage of high rigidity, good sealing, and no leakage and thus it can improve the environment of working.
4) Transmission device selects Motor type straight league cycloidal reducer, and it has advantage of big power low noise, compact structure, and reliable transmission.
5) This machine can be installed in horizontal or inclined, Cover small area, easy to install and use.
Working Principle of Spiral Screw Conveyor:
When the hollow axes with screw flight rotates along the jacketed trough, the bulk material feed into the trough and screw flight was hold back by the frication resistance acted on the wall of trough during running, the screw flight push the material and make the material do axial movement, simultaneity the material contact with the hollow shaft and jacketed trough full with cooling water and do heat transfer process. The cooled material can be discharged at the proper outlet at the bottom of trough or transport out at the end of trough.
