Weather-proof type Transformer Oil Reconditioning Plant
ASSEN ZYD Weather-proof type transformer oil reconditioning plant has been specially designed for on site use to completely regenerate insulating oils in de-energized transformers. Our machine provides regular oil purification such as degassing, drying and particulate removal but also can remove acidity, sludge, other soluble oil decay products and discoloration. This is accomplished by the use of high vacuum degasification technology and particulate filters combined with our special brand of earth. After treating, the oil can be reused as new. For special application, the system also can be mounted on a leak proof base and can be installed and operated on a trailer.
1. Two pumps: Vacuum pump and booster pump

13. Equipped with pressure protective system and interlocked protective system to connect oil pump, heater and liquid level controller. If there has any fault, this oil filter will be power off automatically.
14. Saving energy and time
ZYD series vacuum transformer oil reconditioning plant is mainly used to extend the lifetime of oils used in transformers, circuit breakers, mutual inductor, voltage regulators and switch gear, or to inject the insulating oil into the transformers. Equipped with regenerators, ASSEN transformer oil reconditioning plants can improve the effect of de-acid, de-color and remove dielectric and acid more effectively. The value of breakdown voltage will increase from 15KV to 75KV. The performance and lifetime of insulating oil will improve and extend awfully after purification and regeneration.

Q: How can we achieve drying without elevated heating of the insulation material for transformers?
A: Drying of insulation materials can be achieved at low temperature and low pressure levels. The pressure levels and temperature levels for drying vary for distinct material. At low pressure or under vacuum the rate of water vapour evaporation is accelerated if sufficient heat is provided to the insulation material. Thus we can achieve a good drying of insulating material if the material is suitably heated and subjected to vacuum.
