Introduction

The CAT5 IP KVM Switch (hereinafter refers to as "IP KVM Switch"), can control attaching servers and computers from local or remote console. This IP KVM Switch is loaded with one local console port and one IP-based remote console module. It also features such as daisy chain port, OSD (On Screen Display) menu, password  security, hotkey control, push button and auto-scan control and optional PS/2 local console module,  USB local console module or CAT5-based remote console module.

This IP KVM Switch has complete keyboard and mouse emulation for simultaneous computer boot-up  processes.

With the IP-based remote console module you can control one or many computers locally at the server site or remotely via the Internet using a standard browser. You can securely obtain BIOS level access to systems for maintenance, support, or failure recovery over the Internet. Communication is secure via SSL encryption.

With the optional CAT5-based remote console module and Receiver (Receiver Box),  you can remotely control servers and computers 1000 feet away. In other words, you can locate your monitor, keyboard and mouse up to1000 feet away from the IP KVM Switch. The built-in CAT5 transmitter synthesizes VGA monitor andkeyboard/  mouse signals ,  and transmit the signals to the remote CAT5 receiver over the CAT5 cable.
