1. Product Description
The High Throughput Rotary Drum Dryer is a heavy-duty large-scale drying equipment specially optimized for bauxite ore and alumina raw material processing in aluminum industrial production lines. Bauxite ore features high natural moisture, uneven particle gradation and complex symbiotic components, which puts forward high requirements on equipment processing capacity and drying uniformity. Traditional small and medium-sized dryers are unable to meet the mass dehydration demand of large alumina plants, resulting in low production efficiency and unstable calcination quality. This high-throughput drum dryer adopts oversized reinforced cylinder structure, multi-layer dense lifting system and high-power hot air circulation design. It supports long-term continuous full-load operation, efficiently removing surface and interstitial moisture from bulk bauxite raw ore. It provides uniformly dried qualified materials for subsequent grinding, beneficiation, calcination and alumina refining processes. As the core high-yield drying equipment for modern bauxite processing and aluminum oxide production lines, it greatly improves the overall throughput of mineral pretreatment.
2. Working Principle
This high-capacity bauxite rotary dryer adopts high-efficiency countercurrent hot air circulating drying principle adapted to large-volume aluminum ore processing. Massive wet bauxite ore is continuously and quantitatively fed into the large-diameter inclined rotary drum. With stable low-speed rotation of the cylinder, the multi-group optimized lifting plates repeatedly lift, flip and scatter bauxite particles to form a dense and uniform material curtain. Large-flow high-temperature hot air conducts full three-dimensional heat exchange with scattered ore materials in a countercurrent direction, realizing rapid and graded dehydration in high-throughput state. The optimized airflow and speed matching design ensures that a large amount of materials can be evenly heated without wet residue or over-drying. Water vapor and fine dust are timely discharged through a high-flow dust removal and exhaust system. After circulating drying, qualified low-moisture bauxite ore is stably and continuously discharged to support continuous alumina processing. The whole system realizes high-yield, stable and uniform large-scale drying production.
