KG Series Thin Section Ball Bearing Angular Contact A-type
Product Overview:
KG Series is imperial‑standard Open‑type Constant Cross‑Section Type A 30° Angular‑Contact Thin‑Section Ball Bearing from Kaydon Reali‑Slim portfolio, with fixed square cross‑section of 25.4 mm (1.0inch). It is the maximum‑cross‑section heavy‑duty thin‑wall bearing within KAA‑KA‑KB‑KC‑KD‑KF‑KG product lineup. Cross‑section dimension remains constant regardless of inner‑diameter increase. Standard version is open construction without seals, normally supplied with AR0 machined solid one‑piece brass cage .
Single‑row two‑point 30° angular‑contact construction accepts combined radial load and unidirectional axial thrust load. Single bearing cannot withstand alternating bidirectional thrust load. Two bearings shall be duplex‑mounted (DF face‑to‑face / DB back‑to‑back) for bidirectional load capacity and adjustable axial preload.
Compared with KF and smaller series, KG adopts maximum‑size balls to realize top‑level load‑rating, rigidity and anti‑overturning moment of this thin‑section bearing family. Preferred for heavy‑duty precision rotary equipment with extra‑large bore, limited installation envelope and strict requirements for load‑carrying capacity, anti‑tilting performance and rigidity. Bore sizes range from 4 inch to 40 inch, widely deployed in various large‑scale heavy‑duty high‑end equipment.
