KA Series Thin Section Ball Bearing  Four Point Contact X-type


Product Overview:

KA‑X series is imperial‑standard Open‑type Constant Cross‑Section Four‑Point‑Contact Ball Bearing (Type‑X) from Kaydon Reali‑Slim portfolio, with fixed square cross‑section of 6.35mm (0.250inch), open‑type without seals. Adopting gothic‑arch raceway (Type‑X four‑point‑contact) geometry, one single bearing can accommodate radial load, bidirectional axial thrust and overturning‑moment simultaneously. It can directly replace two duplex angular‑contact bearings, reducing part count, saving axial installation envelope and simplifying mechanical layout.

Cross‑section dimension keeps constant regardless of bore‑size increase, realizing large‑bore, thin‑wall and lightweight construction. AR0 solid brass cage is standard; AG0 glass‑fiber reinforced nylon cage is available as special option. Compared with KAA‑X series, larger‑size rolling elements deliver improved load‑carrying and anti‑tilting capacity. Suitable for medium‑load precision rotary applications with combined loads and compact‑space constraints. Standard bore ranges from 2‑20 inches, widely applied in robot joints, opto‑electronic turntables, semiconductor equipment, medical machinery and aerospace systems.
