Product Overview:

KAA‑X series is imperial‑standard Open‑type Constant Cross‑Section Four‑Point‑Contact Ball Bearing (Type‑X) of Kaydon Reali‑Slim, with fixed square cross‑section of 4.7625mm (0.1875inch). It is the smallest‑cross‑section four‑point‑contact thin‑section ball bearing within the family, open‑type without seals.

Single‑row four‑point‑contact (Type‑X) raceway geometry enables one single bearing to carry radial load, bidirectional axial thrust and overturning moment simultaneously. In many applications it can directly replace two angular‑contact bearings, simplifying assembly and saving axial installation space .

Cross‑section keeps constant regardless of bore size increase, achieving large‑bore, ultra‑thin wall and lightweight design. AG0 glass‑fiber reinforced nylon cage is standard; brass cage is available upon special order. Suitable for light‑to‑medium‑load precision rotary applications with multi‑direction combined loads and extreme space constraints. Standard bore ranges from 0.75‑20 inches, widely used in precision gimbals, robot joints, semiconductor, medical and aerospace equipment.
