Y-type Self-cleaning Strainer is a corner-mounted fully automatic on-line filtering equipment. Fluid enters the unit from the inlet, solid impurities are trapped by the built-in screen, and clean medium flows out continuously. As contaminants accumulate, the pressure difference between inlet and outlet rises. The control system automatically activates the cleaning mechanism to scrub and strip dirt on the screen surface, and pollutants are discharged together with blowdown flow. The cleaning process will not cut off fluid flow in main pipelines to guarantee uninterrupted production. Various anti-corrosion materials are optional for the robust pressure-bearing housing. It is generally installed upstream of pumps, heat exchangers, nozzles and other equipment to remove large solid impurities and prevent blockage and abrasion of components. Widely used in industrial circulating water, sewage treatment, HVAC water supply and chemical process pipelines.
