Y-type Strainer is a widely used front-mounted pipeline coarse filter. Medium flows into the housing, solid impurities in fluid are trapped by built-in screen, and clean medium flows out continuously. After contaminants accumulate, shut off upstream and downstream valves, open the bottom cover and take out the screen for cleaning. Simple, reliable and easy to maintain. Normally installed in front of pumps, heat exchangers and nozzles to avoid clogging and abrasion caused by large impurities. It is extensively applied in HVAC circulating water, industrial cooling systems, oil & gas transportation and chemical pipelines.
