Horizontal Self-cleaning Filter is a horizontally mounted fully automatic on-line filtering equipment. The medium horizontally enters the filter housing. Suspended solids and particulate impurities in fluid are trapped by the built-in screen, and clean medium flows out sideways. As contaminants accumulate, the pressure difference between inlet and outlet rises. The control system automatically activates brushing or suction cleaning mechanism to strip dirt on the screen surface, which is discharged together with blowdown flow without cutting off fluid delivery in main pipelines. The horizontal layout occupies little vertical space and facilitates pipeline arrangement in low-height spaces. With high automation level, it is widely used in industrial circulating cooling water, sewage treatment, reclaimed water reuse and chemical pipelines. It continuously purifies fluid and protects downstream heat exchangers, pumps, nozzles and membrane modules from blockage and abrasion caused by impurities.
