1. Product Overview
Channel Steel, also known as Hot Rolled Channel Steel and U Channel Steel, is a hot-rolled structural section steel with a U-shaped groove cross-section. It is integrally composed of a web and two inclined flanges with scientific force-bearing structure, excellent bending, shear and compression resistance. Manufactured by high-temperature hot rolling, Hot Rolled Channel Steel features uniform metallographic structure, stable mechanical properties, balanced toughness and bearing capacity, and superior secondary processability for welding, cutting, drilling and bolt assembly.
With light self-weight and strong structural rigidity, U Channel Steel is easy to install. It can be used as an independent load-bearing component or combined with I-beams, angle steel and steel plates to build steel structure frames. 5. Production Technology & Surface Treatment
Channel Steel is produced through integrated hot rolling processes: billet heating, rough rolling, finish rolling, shaping, cooling straightening and fixed-length shearing, ensuring regular forming, standard cross-section and stable mechanical properties. The default surface is hot-rolled black finish. Custom treatments such as pickling rust removal, anti-rust oil coating, sandblasting and hot-dip galvanizing are available to meet sea export anti-corrosion and long-term outdoor service requirements.
One-stop deep processing including fixed-length sawing, punching, beveling, bending, welding and polishing is supported, reducing customers’ secondary processing investment and construction costs.
