1. Steel Billet Overview
Steel Billet is semi‑finished steel product after steel‑making process. Premium Steel Billet features uniform chemical composition and low inclusion content. It is core upstream raw material for rolling various steel products, which cannot be directly used as finished goods and needs reheating, rolling or forging processing.
Continuous Cast Billet is mainstream type of Steel Billet, formed by continuous casting of molten steel. Continuous Cast Billet includes square billet, rectangular billet and round billet for different downstream processing of profiles, plates and pipes.
Carbon Steel Billet is the most widely‑used billet in market. Standard Carbon Steel Billet has stable impurity control, which can be rolled into rebar, round bar, angle steel and welded pipe for mass‑production demands.

2. Production Process
Steel Billet is produced by steel‑making, LF secondary refining, continuous casting and cut‑to‑length. The whole process strictly controls chemical composition and metallographic structure for Steel Billet, Continuous Cast Billet and Carbon Steel Billet.
Refining procedure: Secondary ladle refining desulfurizes and dephosphorizes molten steel, lowering harmful impurities for stable composition of Continuous Cast Billet and Carbon Steel Billet.
Continuous casting: Qualified molten steel solidifies in caster to produce square, rectangular and round billets with high production efficiency for mass output of Steel Billet.
Cut‑to‑length: Flame cutting or sawing for required length; scarfing and grinding service available to remove surface cracks and scabs upon request.
Strict sampling inspection for chemical composition and surface condition, optional UT ultrasonic inspection ensure Steel Billet, Continuous Cast Billet and Carbon Steel Billet free from severe shrinkage cavity, delamination and cracks.

4. Execution Standards
All Steel Billet comply with domestic and international continuous‑cast‑billet standards. Each batch ofSteel Billet, Continuous Cast Billet and Carbon Steel Billet is traceable for inspection acceptance.
Domestic standard: GB/T 20112 for continuous‑cast square and rectangular steel billets.
Domestic round billet standard: Q/BQB 151 for continuous‑cast round billets for pipe production.
International standards: ASTM A615, EN10025, GOST380 for export‑grade Continuous Cast Billet and Carbon Steel Billet.
Strict standard control guarantees chemical composition, surface quality and dimensional tolerance for allSteel Billet products.
5. Size Range
Square billet: 80×80mm‑250×250mm; Rectangular billet:120×160mm‑200×300mm; Round billet Φ80‑Φ600mm.
Length: 6m, 9m, 12m standard length, custom cut‑to‑length service supported for Continuous Cast Billet and Carbon Steel Billet.
Surface: Original as‑cast black surface; scarfing and grinding optional; free from large‑area cracks and heavy scabs.
UT ultrasonic inspection optional for high‑grade rolling requirement of Steel Billet, Continuous Cast Billet and Carbon Steel Billet.
6. Delivery Condition
As‑cast cooled delivery: mainstream condition for reheating, rolling and forging for most steel mills.
Hot‑charge delivery: high‑temperature direct supply for factories with own rolling line to save reheating energy consumption for bulk Steel Billet orders.
Surface‑scarfed condition: surface grinding for alloy Continuous Cast Billet to avoid surface cracking during rolling.
