Manufactured in strict accordance with the national standard GB/T 1499.2-2018, the steel surface is equipped with spiral, herringbone and crescent-shaped transverse ribs, which greatly enhance the bonding force with concrete and ensure high structural stability. 1. Product Material (Core Chemical Composition)
Main Product Range: Specializes in three mainstream products: Hot-rolled Ribbed Bar, National Standard Threaded Steel and Seismic Resistant Threaded Steel. Core grades include HRB335(20MnSi), HRB400/HRB400E, HRB500/HRB500E. All are high-quality low-carbon micro-alloyed steels with added vanadium and niobium elements to refine grain structure and improve overall mechanical properties of the steel.
Standard Conventional Chemical Composition: Carbon (C): 0.25%–0.35% (basic strength guarantee); Manganese (Mn): 1.2%–1.6% (toughness optimization); Silicon (Si): 0.4%–0.8% (yield strength enhancement); Sulfur (S) & Phosphorus (P): ≤0.045% (reduces brittleness and improves weldability). Every piece of Hot-rolled Ribbed Bar and National Standard Threaded Steel is produced in strict accordance with this proportion.
Special Standard for Seismic Resistant Threaded Steel: Grade E Seismic Resistant Threaded Steel features a carbon equivalent (Ceq) ≤ 0.54% and a strength-yield ratio ≥ 1.25. It has excellent energy dissipation and deformation resistance, serving as the dedicated Hot-rolled Ribbed Bar for high-intensity seismic engineering projects.
2. Product Model (Strength Grade Classification)
All grades of National Standard Threaded Steel are standardized Hot-rolled Ribbed Bar. Models marked with "E" represent Seismic Resistant Threaded Steel, meeting diverse load-bearing and seismic requirements of different projects. Detailed classification is as follows:
HRB335 (Grade 2 National Standard Threaded Steel): Yield strength ≥ 335MPa, tensile strength ≥ 455MPa. As conventionalHot-rolled Ribbed Bar, it is widely applied in low-load conventional buildings such as ordinary residential and commercial buildings, acting as the basic National Standard Threaded Steel for general engineering.
HRB400/HRB400E (Grade 3 National Standard Threaded Steel): The most circulated and cost-effective Hot-rolled Ribbed Bar in the market, with yield strength ≥ 400MPa and tensile strength ≥ 540MPa. Among them, HRB400E Seismic Resistant Threaded Steel delivers superior seismic performance, extensively used in key projects including high-rise buildings, large factories and municipal bridges.
HRB500/HRB500E (Grade 4 High-strength National Standard Threaded Steel): High-strength Hot-rolled Ribbed Bar with yield strength ≥ 500MPa and tensile strength ≥ 630MPa. HRB500E high-strength Seismic Resistant Threaded Steel is suitable for high-end heavy-load projects such as large-span stadiums and high-speed railway bridges, effectively reducing steel reinforcement dosage and lowering overall project costs.
3. Specification Parameters (Full Size & Theoretical Weight)
We provide a full range of specifications for National Standard Threaded Steel and Hot-rolled Ribbed Bar, with all mainstream sizes available for Seismic Resistant Threaded Steel. All products feature precise dimensions and standard tolerances.
Nominal Diameter: Conventional mainstream sizes: 12mm, 16mm, 20mm, 25mm, 32mm; full coverage from 6mm to 50mm. Small-size Hot-rolled Ribbed Bar of 6mm, 8mm and 10mm are usually supplied in coil form. All sizes of National Standard Threaded Steel and Seismic Resistant Threaded Steel comply with national dimensional standards.
Standard Length: Conventional in-stock standard lengths are 9m and 12m. Custom lengths including 6m, 8m, 10m and 5.8m (commonly used for export) are available. Customized Hot-rolled Ribbed Bar and Seismic Resistant Threaded Steel have zero dimensional deviation.
Theoretical Weight (kg/m): Φ12=0.888, Φ16=1.580, Φ20=2.466, Φ25=3.850, Φ32=6.310, Φ40=9.865. Seismic Resistant Threaded Steel shares identical weight parameters with the same-specification National Standard Threaded Steel with minimal errors.
Appearance & Traceability Marking: Authentic Hot-rolled Ribbed Bar has uniform and regular transverse ribs. Each piece of National Standard Threaded Steel is printed with grade, steel mill code and diameter information, while the E-grade marking of Seismic Resistant Threaded Steel is clearly visible. Each bundle is attached with a professional label indicating furnace batch number, production date and quality inspection data for full traceability.
4. Mechanical Properties (Core Engineering Acceptance Standards)
All Hot-rolled Ribbed Bar products feature stable performance. National Standard Threaded Steel meets conventional project acceptance requirements, while Seismic Resistant Threaded Steel passes additional professional seismic tests with indicators exceeding basic national standards.
Core acceptance indicators: yield strength, tensile strength, elongation and cold bending performance are all fully qualified. HRB400E Seismic Resistant Threaded Steel has an elongation ≥ 16% and no cracks after 180° cold bending. With excellent toughness and plasticity, it effectively resists structural deformation and seismic impact.
5. Delivery Cycle, Packaging & Transportation
A large inventory of National Standard Threaded Steel, conventional Hot-rolled Ribbed Bar and mainstream Seismic Resistant Threaded Steel is always in stock. We support spot orders, customized orders and export orders with stable and reliable delivery efficiency.
Conventional Spot Orders: Standard-size steel bars of Φ12–32 (9m/12m) are fully stocked. Goods are delivered from the warehouse within 1–3 working days after payment. Express orders support same-day payment and same-day delivery.
Non-standard Custom Orders: Custom Hot-rolled Ribbed Bar, customized Seismic Resistant Threaded Steel and non-standard National Standard Threaded Steel with special lengths, oversized diameters and special processes have a production cycle of 7–15 working days for orders within 200 tons, and 15–20 working days for bulk orders over 500 tons. Batch delivery is available.
Export Orders: The conventional delivery cycle is 10–15 days (including commodity inspection, customs declaration and loading). Urgent orders can be shortened to 7 days with complete export quality inspection documents provided.
Packaging & Transportation: Straight National Standard Threaded Steel is bundled into 2–5 tons per bundle with 4–6 reinforced fastenings. Coiled Hot-rolled Ribbed Bar is 1–3 tons per coil with full moisture-proof protection. Domestic transportation includes truck direct delivery, railway and waterway shipping; export transportation adopts container and bulk carrier shipping to ensure zero loss of Seismic Resistant Threaded Steel during transit.

Conventional Civil & Municipal Projects: Prioritize HRB400E Seismic Resistant Threaded Steel. As the mainstream National Standard Threaded Steel and Hot-rolled Ribbed Bar, it features high cost performance, stable supply and a 100% project acceptance rate.
Large-span & Heavy-load High-end Projects: Select HRB500E high-strength Seismic Resistant Threaded Steel. This high-end National Standard Threaded Steel has higher strength, reduces steel reinforcement dosage and saves overall project costs.
Seismic Fortification Area Projects: Ordinary steel is prohibited from replacement. Qualified Seismic Resistant Threaded Steel must be adopted. Relying on the stable performance of high-quality Hot-rolled Ribbed Bar and fully complying with National Standard Threaded Steel quality inspection standards, it ensures the seismic safety of building structures.
