3. Common Material Grades and Applicable Working Conditions

As the mainstream National Standard Pressure Vessel Plate in the market, Q245R and Q345R have good toughness and weldability, widely used in ordinary storage tanks, heat exchangers, low-pressure boilers and water treatment pressure equipment. Q370R, a high-strength grade, is suitable for high-pressure thick-walled vessels, large storage tanks and heavy-duty pressure-bearing equipment.

  • Low-temperature Pressure Vessel Plate: 16MnDR, 09MnNiDR. Professional Low-temperature Pressure Vessel Plates adapted to ultra-low temperature conditions of -40℃ and -70℃ respectively. With excellent low-temperature impact toughness and no risk of low-temperature brittle fracture, they are widely applied in LNG storage tanks, liquid ammonia storage tanks, low-temperature heat exchange equipment, ethylene cold boxes and low-temperature pressure vessels.

  • High-temperature and High-pressure Pressure Vessel Plate: 15CrMoR, 12Cr1MoVR, 13MnNiMoR. High-end High-temperature and High-pressure Pressure Vessel Plates with excellent heat resistance, creep resistance and high-temperature oxidation resistance. They can withstand long-term service above 500℃ and high-pressure environments, ideal for power station boiler drums, steam reactors, petrochemical high-temperature cracking equipment and high-pressure heat exchange devices.

  • International Standard Pressure Vessel Plate: American standards: SA516Gr60, SA516Gr70, SA285GrC, SA387Gr22; European standards: P265GH, P355GH, P355NL. 9. Quality Inspection

Products with delamination, inclusion, cracks and unqualified performance are strictly prohibited from delivery. Complete quality inspection reports and material certificates are provided for each batch with full quality traceability, fully meeting the standards for special equipment acceptance, project filing and third-party testing.

10. Packaging Method

  • Conventional Industrial Packaging: The plate surface is covered with protective film with reinforced corner protection, wrapped with anti-rust and waterproof moisture-proof layers, and fixed with multiple steel belt bindings to prevent collision, surface scratches and moisture rust during transportation, ensuring intact delivery of finished products.

11. Storage and Usage Precautions

Pressure Vessel Plates shall be stored in dry, ventilated and dust-free indoor warehouses. Long-term outdoor stacking, rainwater accumulation, dampness and sun exposure are strictly prohibited to avoid surface oxidation rusting and mechanical performance degradation caused by material moisture. Plates shall be stacked by category of material, specification and thickness with elevation from the ground, kept away from acid-base and corrosive gases and materials, and the stacking height shall be controlled to prevent extrusion deformation and surface wear. Avoid hard object impact and surface scratches during processing. Thick plate welding shall strictly follow standardized preheating and temperature control procedures to prevent welding cracks. Low-temperature Pressure Vessel Plates are forbidden to be used beyond rated temperature conditions, and High-temperature and High-pressure Pressure Vessel Plates shall not operate under long-term over-pressure and over-temperature conditions.
