Instruction Manual for LW-301 Iron Mold Cleaning Solution

LW-301 is a specialized cleaning solution developed specifically for iron molds and 45# steel molds. It is highly effective against residues generated during rubber molding, release agents, and oxide layers that form on the mold surface during vulcanization.

I. Product Specifications

  1. Appearance: Light yellow, transparent liquid

  2. Specific Gravity: 1.32 ± 0.02

  3. pH Value: 12

  4. Main Components: Inorganic salts, organic sodium salts, polyhydric alcohols, surfactants, and water.

  5. Safety Feature: Non-flammable (No flash point).

II. Instructions for Use

(A) Spraying Method

  1. Evenly spray LW-301 onto a mold heated to approximately 100℃.

  2. Wait 1–2 minutes to allow the dirt to soften and float to the surface.

  3. Rinse the mold thoroughly with plenty of clean water.

(B) Coating Method

  1. Apply a small amount of the original solution or diluted solution onto the hot mold surface.

  2. The solution will boil upon contact with the hot mold, completely removing rubber residues and release agents.

  3. Once the dirt has softened and floated to the surface, rinse the mold thoroughly with clean water.

(C) Soaking Method

  1. Pour the stock solution or diluted solution into an iron trough and heat it to approximately 95℃. Alternatively, immerse the hot mold directly into the solution.

  2. After the dirt softens and begins to float (typically 2–5 minutes), remove the mold and clean it thoroughly.

  3. Note: Please adjust the solution concentration, soaking time, and temperature according to the severity of the soiling.

III. Product Characteristics

Being a water-soluble product, LW-301 can be diluted with water based on the level of dirt. It is also highly effective at removing light oil stains.

IV. Safety Precautions

  1. Protective Gear: As this is an alkaline solution, always wear rubber gloves and avoid direct skin contact.

  2. First Aid: If the solution comes into contact with the skin, rinse the affected area thoroughly with plenty of clean water immediately.

  3. Material Restriction: Due to its alkaline nature, DO NOT use this product on aluminum molds.

  4. Surface Treatment: For molds with special surface treatments, please conduct a small test before full application.

V. Packaging

LW-301 Iron Mold Cleaning Solution is available in 5 kg and 20 kg packaging.
