Product Overview
The rotary wood chip dryer machine is a dedicated core pre-processing unit custom-built for wood pellet plants. It is installed between the wood chip crushing section and the pellet mill, designed to process high-moisture raw wood chips and efficiently reduce their initial moisture content (usually 30%-55%) to the precise 8%-12% range that perfectly meets the strict forming requirements of pellet machines. This equipment is the key guarantee for wood pellet plants to achieve continuous, stable and high-yield production, directly avoiding common problems such as loose pellets, low forming rate and shortened die life caused by uneven moisture of raw materials.
Core Technical Design Tailored for Pellet Production Scenarios
This series of dryers adopts targeted optimized designs fully adapted to the operation characteristics of wood pellet plants:
The main rotary drum is fitted with specially designed anti-blocking, wear-resistant lifting flights, which can fully break up and turn over wood chips to form a uniform material curtain, ensuring every particle of raw material completes sufficient and even heat exchange.
The optimized multi-loop hot air flow path maximizes heat utilization efficiency, effectively cutting down the unit drying energy consumption and reducing the long-term operating cost of the pellet plant.
It is equipped with a heavy-duty reinforced drive system, which can support 24/7 non-stop continuous operation, perfectly matching the high-load continuous production rhythm of modern large-scale wood pellet plants.
The system is integrated with a high-precision online moisture detection module, which can monitor the moisture of discharged dried materials in real time to keep it strictly within the optimal range for pelletizing.
System Matching and Application Values
This rotary wood chip dryer can seamlessly connect with the upstream wood chip pre-treatment system and downstream pellet mill, realizing the coordinated operation of the whole wood pellet production line. It helps pellet plants make full use of low-cost forestry waste and wood processing scraps as raw materials, greatly expanding the profit space of the project. To give full play to its performance, it is recommended to match it with a supporting high-efficiency biomass hot blast stove and a complete dust removal system, building a highly stable and energy-saving full-process drying system that fully supports the high-quality and high-yield production of standard wood pellets.
