Product Overview
The automatic wood chip drying system is an intelligent, highly integrated core pre-processing facility custom-built for modern biomass factories. It targets high-moisture raw wood chips, forestry residues and wood processing scraps, automatically and stably reducing their initial moisture content (30%-60%) to the precise 8%-15% range that fully meets the strict feed requirements for subsequent biomass pelletizing, briquetting or clean combustion. This system eliminates unstable factors caused by manual operation in traditional drying processes, ensuring the continuous, consistent and high-efficiency operation of the entire biomass production line.
Core Automatic Functional Modules and Technical Features
This system integrates a full set of intelligent configurations tailored for biomass factory scenarios:
It is equipped with real-time online moisture detection sensors, which automatically adjust feeding speed, drum rotation speed and hot air temperature according to the moisture fluctuation of incoming wood chips.
The full PLC automatic control system realizes unattended operation, dynamically monitoring and adjusting key parameters such as air volume, exhaust temperature and material residence time to keep outlet moisture strictly within the optimal range.
It has built-in automatic safety protection mechanisms including over-temperature alarm, material blockage detection and explosion-proof interlock, which automatically trigger emergency responses to avoid fire risks caused by wood chip flammability.
It can seamlessly dock with the upstream wood chip pre-treatment system and downstream biomass forming equipment, realizing coordinated operation of the entire factory's production flow.
Industrial Application Values and System Matching Guidance
This automatic wood chip drying system effectively avoids common problems in biomass production such as unstable combustion, low pellet forming rate and easy coking caused by uneven moisture of dried materials. It greatly reduces labor costs, improves the consistency and quality grade of final biomass products, and is the core supporting facility for high-yield, high-standard modern biomass factories.
