Product Description
The Südmo SVP Select EAF+ single-seat relief valve is equipped with an actuator that allows for adjustable set pressure. In addition to the SVP Select series, other designs are also available. Single-seat relief valves are used to relieve pressure in enclosed spaces (pipes, vessels, tanks) when pressure becomes excessive. The set pressure of the relief valve is determined by the tension of the pressure spring in the actuator. When the line pressure exceeds the set pressure, the valve opens and the medium is discharged. The discharged medium can be vented directly, recirculated, or fed back into a closed system. In accordance with the EU Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC, the relief valve is not classified as a safety component and does not come with any type of inspection certificate. The spring tension can be adjusted within a specific range using bolts. If the adjustment range is insufficient, the actuator can be replaced with a model offering a wider or narrower adjustment range.
