Abstract
Freskone, also known as Freskomenthe, chemical name 2-sec-Butylcyclohexanone, is a premium synthetic fragrance raw material with CAS No.14765-30-1 and FEMA No.3261. It is a colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid with elegant fresh mint, woody and jasmine-like aroma, featuring outstanding fragrance retention and excellent fixing effect.
Description
Chemical name: 2-sec-Butylcyclohexanone, molecular formula C10H18O. It is a colorless transparent oily liquid with purity ≥98%. Insoluble in water, fully soluble in ethanol, propylene glycol and fragrance oils. It carries mild natural peppermint, herbal and subtle woody notes without harsh bitter mint pungency.
