Detailed Product Description
The powder coating line comprises several key sections that work in sequence: loading zone → pretreatment tunnel → drying oven (optional) → powder coating booth → curing oven → cooling zone → unloading zone. Each section is designed to handle high throughput while maintaining excellent finish quality.
Pretreatment Section: Critical for removing oil, rust, and dirt. Our standard 5-stage spray pretreatment includes: alkali degreasing, water rinsing, surface conditioning, zinc/iron phosphating, and final rinsing. For stricter requirements, additional stages (e.g., passivation, deionized water rinse) are available. The tanks are made of stainless steel 304, and the spray system ensures complete coverage even for complex geometries.
Drying Oven (optional): Before coating, workpieces may be dried in a forced-air oven to remove moisture, ensuring the powder adheres properly. This oven operates at 100-150°C with adjustable speed.
Powder Coating Booth: Equipped with automatic reciprocating guns (manual touch-up also possible). The booth is made of anti-static material with a built-in cyclone recovery system, achieving near 95% powder utilization. Color change can be done in less than 15 minutes with our quick-change design.
Curing Oven: The curing oven uses a gas-fired heating system (or electric as chosen) with forced air circulation. The temperature profile is precisely controlled to ensure the powder melts and cross-links properly, resulting in a tough, durable finish. Adjustable conveyor speed and temperature settings allow optimization for different powder types (epoxy, polyester, hybrid, etc.).
Cooling & Unloading: After curing, workpieces pass through an ambient cooling zone and then are unloaded manually or automatically. The entire line is designed for continuous 24/7 operation.
