5000m³ Large Above-Ground Fire Water Tank for Petrochemical & Industrial Plants (Vertical Cylindrical Welded Steel Tank)
Designed specifically for fire water storage in petrochemical refineries, oil depots, tank farms, and chemical industrial parks, this large-capacity atmospheric storage tank works in conjunction with fire pump stations and foam extinguishing systems. Manufactured in compliance with GB 50974 (China Fire Water Code) and API 650 (Welded Steel Tanks for Oil Storage).
📐 Structural Features

Vertical cylindrical cone-roof/dome-roof design: uniform stress distribution, compact footprint. Typical 5000m³ dimension: φ25m × total height ~10.7m (incl. 0.5m freeboard).

Tapered shell courses: thicker bottom course (≥12mm + 2mm corrosion allowance), stepped reduction upward per API 650 hydrostatic gradient.

Fixed cone/dome roof with stiffening ribs: wind, snow, and seismic load resistant (designed per project seismic zone).
🏗️ Material & Corrosion Protection

Shell material: Q235B / Q345R (GB) or ASTM A36 (for export); SS304/316L optional for premium projects.

Internal coating: Epoxy resin / FRP lining / SS316L clad (prevents water contamination).

External coating: Sa 2.5 blasting + epoxy zinc-rich primer + micaceous iron intermediate + polyurethane topcoat (coal tar epoxy / glass flake available per environment).

Corrosion allowance: 1–3mm configurable.
