1. Product Overview
Shipbuilding Steel Plate, also known as structural steel plate for ships and offshore engineering, is a special hot rolled medium & heavy plate developed for ship and offshore platforms. It adopts clean steel slabs refined by LF+VD vacuum refining, produced via TMCP thermo-mechanical controlled rolling & cooling process, with strict control of harmful impurities S & P. It features excellent low-temperature impact toughness, fatigue resistance, outstanding performance under alternating marine loads and superior weldability. All products can obtain certifications from five major classification societies: CCS, ABS, DNV, LR, BV. Widely used in core load-bearing hull structures of ocean cargo ships, container vessels, oil tankers, offshore platforms and icebreakers.

6. Complete Production Process
Converter steelmaking → LF refining + VD vacuum degassing impurity removal → Continuous casting slab → Reheating furnace heating → High-pressure water descaling → TMCP controlled rolling → Laminar accelerated cooling → Hot straightening → Surface defect cleaning → Heat treatment (Normalizing / QT upon request) → Full-plate ultrasonic testing → Dimensional re-inspection → Classification society marking stenciling → CNC fixed-length cutting → Anti-rust treatment → Wooden pallet strapping & delivery
7. Quality Inspection Items (EN10204 3.1 MTC + Classification Society Certificate Attached)
Dimensional Inspection: Thickness, width, length, flatness, camber, edge burr
Surface Inspection: Full inspection for cracks, scabs, lamination, scratches and oxide scale defects
Chemical Spectrum Analysis: Strictly controlled S≤0.025%, P≤0.025%, matched Nb/V/Ti micro-alloy elements
Mechanical Tests: Yield strength, tensile strength, percentage elongation, room & low temperature V-notch impact test
Process Test: 180° cold bending test to verify forming & welding performance
Non-destructive Testing: Full-plate ultrasonic inspection to detect internal lamination, shrinkage cavities and cracks
Special Surveyor Sampling: Batch re-inspection by classification society surveyors with official marine certificate issued

Each plate protected by edge iron guards to avoid collision, coated with anti-rust primer, layered separated on solid anti-slip wooden pallets, fully bundled with steel strips and covered with rain tarpaulin for long-term sea moisture-proof.
Stock ready within 5-7 days, container loading at Tianjin Port. FOB, CIF, CFR trade terms acceptable.
Attached complete documents: Classification society certification, EN10204 3.1 material certificate, ultrasonic NDT report, low temperature impact test report, packing list, commercial invoice.
