1. Product Profile
Prepainted Color Coated Steel Coil (short name: PPGI / PPGL) is a pre-coated metal coil produced via continuous coating production line. The base materials include hot dipped galvanized steel, galvalume steel, zinc aluminum magnesium steel and cold rolled steel strip.
The substrate goes through full pretreatment procedures including degreasing, rinsing and chemical passivation to boost paint adhesion. Afterwards, multi-layer organic paint is applied by roller coating and solidified under constant high temperature.
Combining high mechanical strength of steel sheet and decorative, anti-rust organic coating, this product can be directly roll formed, bent and stamped without secondary painting on construction site. It is widely adopted in construction, household appliance, advertising and light manufacturing sectors globally.

9. Storage & Machining Guidelines
Store finished coils in dry and ventilated warehouse, vertical placement is required to avoid water accumulation and dampness; long-term outdoor stacking is forbidden.
Avoid bending operation under sub-zero temperature; stick protective film on inner bending side for thick gauge sheets to prevent paint crack.
Apply dedicated touch-up repair paint on cutting cross sections to slow down edge rusting.
For coastal areas and factories with corrosive gas, recommend AZ galvalume or ZM zinc aluminum magnesium substrate matched with HDP / PVDF coating system.
