I. Product Introduction Metal serrated gaskets, also known as wave-serrated composite gaskets or Kammprofile gaskets, precision-machined with concentric serrated grooves on a 304/316L stainless steel base material, featuring double-sided composite flexible graphite / PTFE / mica sealing. They are categorized into three types: basic type, integral with outer ring, and split with outer ring. Combining the high strength of the metal skeleton with the excellent sealing properties of soft coating, they are resistant to ultra-high temperatures and pressures, and resist thermal cycling creep. They achieve zero leakage with low pre-tightening force, making them high-end specialized for power plant boilers and petrochemical high-temperature/high-pressure flanges, with performance far exceeding metal-wound gaskets. II. Distinction of Three Mainstream Styles 1.-faced serrated gaskets (Preferred for thermal power plants) Base material 304/316, double-sided flexible graphite; temperature resistance -196550°C, suitable for steam, heat transfer oil, high-temperature flue gas, boilers, and steam turbines; creep-resistant and leak-proof under alternating hot and cold. 2. PTFE-faced serrated gaskets (Specialized for chemical anti-corrosion) Double-sided polytetrafluoroethylene coating, resistant to strong acids and bases organic solvents, and electroplating media; no graphite contamination; specialized for food and pharmaceutical industries, acid-pickling reaction vessels, and corrosive pipelines. 3. Pure metal unfaced serrated gaskets (Dry high-temperature conditions) Full stainless steel serrated structure, no soft coating, maximum resistance to 600°C dry hot flue gas metallurgical blast furnaces, and high-temperature hot air pipelines; wear-resistant and resistant to dust erosion. Structural Classification Type A Basic: No outer ring, suitable for small flanges tongue-and-groove or raised-face; Type LA Integral Outer Ring: Metal core and outer ring are integrated, providing positioning and anti-misalignment, suitable for raised-face flanges; Type SJ Split Outer Ring: Outer ring can be carbon steel to reduce the cost of large gaskets, used in large-diameter pressure vessels. III.
