The Metal Powder & Scrap Briquetting Machine is designed to convert loose metal waste into high-density briquettes through hydraulic compression. By transforming lightweight scrap into compact blocks, the system improves material handling efficiency, reduces logistics costs, and increases the economic value of recyclable metals.

This solution is widely used for processing iron powder, steel chips, cast iron turnings, steel slag, aluminum powder, aluminum shavings, copper powder, copper granules, alloy scrap, and other metal residues generated during industrial production. By converting these materials into compact briquettes, recyclers and manufacturers can significantly reduce storage space requirements while improving transportation efficiency.
An additional benefit of briquetting is the reduction of oxidation during storage and remelting. Loose metal particles expose a large surface area to air, leading to material loss during furnace charging. Dense briquettes minimize this exposure, helping improve metal yield and reduce melting losses. For machining operations, the compression process can also help recover residual cutting fluids and coolants, further improving resource utilization and reducing waste.
