The Eddy Current Separator is a high-performance sorting solution specifically designed to recover non-ferrous metals from mixed waste streams. The Eddy Current Separator is widely used in aluminum recycling plants, electronic waste recycling facilities, scrap metal processing centers, automotive recycling operations, and municipal solid waste sorting systems. It is particularly effective for recovering aluminum from shredded beverage cans, automotive scrap, appliance recycling residues, aluminum-plastic composites, PET flakes containing aluminum, radiator recycling materials, and various mixed metal-plastic fractions.

As materials pass across the high-speed magnetic rotor, a powerful alternating magnetic field induces eddy currents within conductive metals. These induced currents create a repulsive force that ejects aluminum, copper, and other non-ferrous metals away from the material stream, while plastics, rubber, wood, and other non-conductive materials continue along their original trajectory. This process enables fast, continuous, and highly efficient separation.
