Product Overview
SC20 is a series of multi-network Smart LTE Cat 4 modules launched by Quectel, featuring the Android operating system. The SC20 series includes seven versions: SC20-CE, SC20-E, SC20-A, SC20-AU, SC20-J, SC20-EU, and SC20-W (Wi-Fi & BT only).
SC20 supports LTE FDD with a maximum downlink of 150Mbps and uplink of 50Mbps, and is backward compatible with EDGE and GSM/GPRS networks, ensuring operation even in areas without 3G or 4G coverage. It also supports IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless protocols (SC20-CE/-W default supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n) and BT4.1 LE Bluetooth technology (Android 7.1 and above support BT4.2).
SC20 supports MIMO technology, allowing multiple antennas on the receiving end to receive signals, which improves downlink speed, reduces error rates, and enhances communication quality. It also supports multiple positioning systems including GPS, GLONASS, and BeiDou, significantly increasing positioning speed and accuracy.
SC20 comes with a rich set of interfaces (like LCM, camera, touchscreen, microphone, speaker, UART, USB, I2C, etc.), greatly expanding its applications in the M2M field. It can be widely used in MID, PND, POS, routers, data cards, in-vehicle terminals, smartphones, digital billboards, security, and industrial PDAs.
