Product Overview

The tube settler is a highly efficient solid-liquid separation equipment based on the "shallow pool theory." By densely installing honeycomb inclined tubes (typically at a 60° angle) within the settling zone, it transforms the deep settling area into numerous micro-shallow settling units. Widely used in municipal sewage, industrial wastewater, and drinking water purification, it drastically shortens the particle settling distance and enhances sedimentation efficiency, serving as a crucial pre-treatment unit to ensure stable downstream processes and compliant effluent.

Core Process & Technical Highlights

1、The interior is filled with dense EPPC or PP lamella media, dividing the water flow into thin layers. Suspended particles only need to settle a very short distance before hitting the tube walls and sliding down to the bottom sludge hopper. The surface loading rate can reach 3-5 times that of traditional horizontal flow sedimentation tanks.

2、Water flow forms a stable laminar state inside the inclined tubes, greatly reducing turbulence interference on floc settling. Combined with coagulants (e.g., PAC/PAM) dosed upstream, it efficiently captures alum flocs, typically achieving an 85%-95% Suspended Solids (SS) removal rate.

3、Sludge settled at the bottom undergoes preliminary gravity concentration in the sludge hopper. The equipment can be equipped with pneumatic or electric sludge discharge valves for timed automatic desludging. Premium models also feature a backwash system to effectively prevent clogging.

4、he main body is made of anti-corrosion carbon steel, FRP, or 304 stainless steel with a compact structure.
