The Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) system is a highly efficient solid-liquid separation equipment designed for industrial and municipal wastewater treatment. By generating a large number of micro-bubbles (20-50 microns) under pressure, the DAF system effectively attaches to suspended solids, oils, and greases in the water. This process reduces the density of the pollutants, causing them to float rapidly to the surface for removal, thereby achieving superior purification results. It is the ideal solution for wastewater where traditional sedimentation is ineffective.

Package DAF system Core Working Principle
Coagulation & Flocculation: Chemicals (coagulants and flocculants) are automatically dosed into the raw wastewater to form visible flocs (flocculation).
Dissolved Air Release: A portion of the treated effluent is recycled, pressurized, and saturated with air in the dissolved air tank. When released into the flotation tank, the pressure drop generates millions of micro-bubbles. Package DAF system
Solid-Liquid Separation: The micro-bubbles attach to the flocs, forming "bubble-particle" aggregates that float to the surface. A mechanical skimmer continuously removes the floating sludge, while clarified water is collected from the bottom.
