The ADL series high-voltage cage type liquid resistance soft starter (referred to as high-voltage water resistance cabinet) is a soft starter device used for large and medium-sized squirrel cage motors or synchronous motors with a rated voltage of 3-10KV. The high-voltage water resistance cabinet eliminates the problems of large impact current, difficult starting, and complicated operation of resistance starters, and is suitable for industries such as chemical plants, mining, decorative building materials, and metallurgical industries. It can be used for light load starting motors such as crushers, large and medium-sized centrifugal fans, large and medium-sized centrifugal water pumps, air compressors, wet ball mills, etc. It is an ideal substitute for frequency sensitive starters and metal resistance starters.
Basic Concepts
The high-pressure water resistance cabinet gradually reduces the distance between two parallel pole pieces in the conductive liquid until it reaches zero based on the gear transmission of the mechanical equipment, so that the resistance value connected to the motor rotor control circuit gradually decreases from a large and smooth value to zero, and the motor speed ratio gradually reaches the rated speed ratio. Gradually achieve smooth starting under light load for winding type large, medium, and small motors.
Technical Characteristics
1. The starting current is small and stable, with no impact on the power grid; The starting current is 1.5~3.5 times the rated voltage, which can reduce the requirement for transformer capacity during light load starting of the motor and lower the one-time project investment;
2. Smooth start-up without impact, with a starting voltage drop of less than 8%, reducing the impact on the motor, power grid, and onboard transmission system, effectively extending the service life of industrial equipment and motors;
3. High thermal conductivity, capable of continuous startup 5-10 times;
4. Low voltage can still start, if the working voltage of the power grid can ensure the normal operation of the motor, it can ensure a successful start;
5. Easy to construct, convenient to maintain, and more reliable than frequency sensitive and oil variable electromagnetic relays.
6. It can be controlled by PLC, with high reliability, and communicates with the upper computer through RS485 port to meet the requirements of DCS control system; Closed loop control can also be achieved.
Requirement standards
1. The working temperature should not exceed 50 ℃ and should not be lower than -5 ℃. If the temperature is consistently below 0 ℃, an electric heater should be retrofitted;
2. The air humidity should not exceed 85%;
3. The altitude above sea level shall not exceed 2000M;
4. Place in a room without strong vibration or impact, with a slope not exceeding 5 °, and without any fire accidents or explosion risks;
5. Conductive floating dust and corrosive vapors are not allowed;
6. The switch power supply adopts three-phase four wire 380/220V 20A, and the working voltage fluctuation ensures that it is within ± 15% of the rated current.
Note: Low voltage can still start. If the working voltage of the power grid can ensure the normal operation of the motor, it can be guaranteed to start;
The high-pressure cage type liquid resistance starter has a simple structure, easy maintenance, and better reliability than frequency sensitive and oil variable electromagnetic relays.
