High voltage motor soft starter cabinets are usually divided into high-voltage solid soft starter cabinets and high-voltage liquid soft starter cabinets according to the type of motor. However, the high-voltage solid-state soft starter cabinet is a more cost-effective and practical soft starter cabinet device than the liquid soft starter cabinet (i.e. water resistance cabinet). At the same time, it is also a cost-effective voltage reducing soft starting device independently developed by our company. Performance characteristics of high-voltage solid-state soft starter cabinet:
1. Suitable for a wide range of voltage and power, it can be used in conjunction with motors up to 6KV-10KV/20000KW.
2. Can be used in conjunction with complete sets of high-voltage switchgear, capacitor compensation cabinets, etc
3. Equipped with four soft start and soft stop functions, ensuring the safe start stop of the system comprehensively.
3. Equipped with an LCD display, it can set parameters such as the starting mode and starting time of the motor.
4. Supports PROFIBUS or MODBUS protocol implemented through interface RS485.
5. Adopting thyristors from ABB or CSR era, resulting in small size and high level of intelligence.
6. It has fault protection functions such as overload, phase loss, and starting peak overcurrent

High voltage solid-state soft starter cabinet is a soft starter device used to start (6000V~10000V) high-voltage AC asynchronous or synchronous motors. It can help reduce the starting current and voltage of induction motors, effectively protect the service life and load life of motors, improve work efficiency and reduce operating costs.
The working principle of the high-voltage solid-state soft starter cabinet is to connect three-phase anti parallel thyristor components and electronic control equipment between the stator winding of the high-voltage motor and the power supply. When the motor starts, the conduction angle of the thyristor is controlled according to a certain rule (such as constant current or voltage ramp), and the input voltage of the motor stator winding is continuously changed until full voltage is reached. After starting, the bypass contactor is closed. Realize soft starting of the motor.
