Overview
The ADTL series fully digital synchronous motor excitation cabinet represents a new generation of motor excitation systems. This synchronous motor excitation device meets all technical requirements for conventional asynchronous starting, automatic excitation regulation, and more. The excitation regulator serves as a structurally independent control unit, encompassing all measurement, control, regulation, and protection functions of the excitation system. These functions include trigger pulse formation and power amplification, analog quantity transmission, contact quantity input and output, starting circuit control, parameter setting and excitation regulation, software and hardware fault detection, dual-machine communication, background communication, and communication with PCs or LCD operation panels. When using adual-regulator configuration, the two machines are connected only through a CAN communication cable, with no shared components, truly achieving software and hardware redundancy. The excitation system utilizes a 32-bit embedded DSP processor with ultra-large scale integration as the core control unit. Its 150MHz main clock frequency is sufficient to handle any complex rapid calculations. Almost all analog quantity measurements within the excitation regulator employ Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) operations, providing high industrial field anti-interference capability.
Scope of Application
The ADTL series fully digital synchronous motor excitation cabinet can be widely applied to synchronous motors of various loads and capacities in industrial and mining enterprises such as petroleum, metallurgy, chemical industry, mining, water conservancy, electric power, gas, building materials, medicine, light industry, textile, etc. It is suitable for excitation of synchronous motors driving non-impact loads, such as mine ball mills, blast furnaces in smelting plants, combined compressors and turbo compressors in fertilizer plants, ammonia compressors in cold storage, gas compressors in oil refineries, and ball mills in cement plants. Additionally, it can be adjusted according to load and can provide dynamic braking. It is also suitable for excitation of synchronous motors driving impact loads, such as the excitation of synchronous motors in steel rolling mills.
Performance Characteristics
1. The adoption of digital control technology has improved the reliability of system operation, ensuring precise control and eliminating the need for debugging;
2. The de-excitation voltage of the de-excitation circuit adopts a step-by-step automatic setting method, featuring mis-conduction protection;
3. During driving and parking, automatic zero-voltage de-excitation is implemented, and when the motor operates synchronously, it automatically switches to high-pass de-excitation, maximizing the safety of the thyristor and the motor;
4. It features multiple operating modes such as constant current, constant power factor, and constant voltage, which can be automatically adjusted via the keyboard;
5. During the starting, stopping, and asynchronous operation of synchronous motors, automatic zero-voltage de-excitation can be achieved to prevent the excitation device from being punctured by excessively high induced voltage;
