What functions do various components play in high and low voltage switchgear? For example, isolation switches, contactors, intermediate relays, thermal relays, buttons, display lights, universal transfer switches, and limit switches are commonly used components in high and low voltage switchgear. The following provides a detailed introduction to the principles and applications of these common electrical components, as well as their effectiveness in electrical equipment circuits.
(1) Contactor
The contactor is composed of two parts: electromagnetic induction organization and contact system software. Its electromagnetic induction organization consists of capacitors, moving iron cores, and static iron cores. The contactor contact system software consists of two parts: main contacts and auxiliary tool contacts. The main contacts are used to conduct the main power circuit, and the auxiliary tool contacts are used to control the circuit.
(2) Thermal relay
Thermal relay is a car relay that uses the principle of thermoelectric effect caused by components to reverse the time position based on the amount of current.
(3) Isolation switch
Low voltage circuit breakers, also known as automatic air switches, can be used as manual power switches and can also be used to distribute electromagnetic energy, infrequently start permanent magnet synchronous motors, and perform maintenance on power plugs, motors, etc. When they generate serious loads, short circuit faults, or common faults such as undervoltage, they must automatically disconnect the power circuit.
(4) Conversion switch
The all-around conversion power switch consists of components such as the actual operation organization, control panel, handle, and multiple contact sockets. The conductivity of each contact when the handle is turned to different gears is expressed by small black dots. Those with small black dots indicate that the contact is closed, while those without small black dots indicate that the contact is disconnected.
(5) Intermediate relay
The principle of an intermediate relay is a car relay that converts a input data signal into several output data signals or amplifies the data signal. Its essence is a voltage relay, but it has many contacts and is sensitive to posture. When the contact pairs of other household appliances are insufficient, they can rely on intermediate relays to expand their contact pairs, which is also based on the expansion of the plug-in capacitance of the intermediate relay to maintain electric shock accidents.
(6) Display light
The function of display lights is to indicate the operation or termination of machinery and equipment, monitor whether the switch power supply of household appliances is normal, use green light network to monitor whether the power circuit is normal, and use signal light network to monitor whether the reclosing circuit is normal.
