The export of energy storage power supplies (household/portable) to Thailand falls within the mandatory certification scope of TISI. They must comply with TISI (TIS 2217-2548, TIS 2151-2562) + UN38.3, and require Thai labeling + local certification in Thailand.

II. Certification Nature and Requirements for Holding the Certificate
* Mandatory: Energy storage power supplies/outdoor power supplies are included in the mandatory catalogue of TISI. Import/sale is prohibited without a TISI certificate.
* Permit holder: The permit must be held by a locally registered Thai company (not directly by a Chinese company), which is responsible for application, annual review, and market communication.
* Certificate validity: 3 years; annual surveillance audits, and a review + factory inspection every 3 years.
III. Essential documents for customs clearance
TISI Conformity Certificate, UN38.3+MSDS, bilingual label and instruction manual, FORM E Certificate of Origin, invoice and packing list, sea/air waybill
IV. Common Pitfalls and Ways to Avoid Them
1. Standard selection error: The mobile power supply (TIS 2217) was mistaken for an ordinary battery (TIS 2151), leading to a retest
2. No local license: Direct applications from Chinese companies are rejected, and a Thai company license is required
3. No Thai label/TISI mark: Customs detention, market ban
4. Failure in high-temperature testing: Thailand's 55℃ high temperature is a hard benchmark, and the heat dissipation/battery cell selection must be adapted in advance
