    A. New Bluetooth Solution / Non-certified Module (QDID Full Test)

    1. Product Specification Sheet (English preferred)

    • Product name, model, hardware version, firmware version

    • Bluetooth version: BLE 5.0/5.2/5.4, dual-mode, etc.

    • Operating frequency band, transmit power, antenna type / gain

    • Supported Profiles: GATT, HID, DFU (common for e-bikes)

  • Hardware Design Documents

    • Schematic diagram (Bluetooth chip/module, power supply and antenna part included)

    • PCB layout (with Gerber files, mark RF routing, shielding and grounding)

    • Block diagram (clearly mark Bluetooth chip/module, crystal oscillator and antenna)

    • BOM list (include Bluetooth chip/module model and manufacturer)

  • RF & Antenna Documents

    • Antenna specification: type, gain, radiation pattern, matching circuit

    • RF parameter sheet: channel power, frequency deviation, modulation index

  • Software / Firmware Documents

    • Bluetooth firmware version, release note, whether protocol stack modified

    • Operation steps/commands to enter DTM/UTM test mode

    • Protocol stack configuration document (fill in PICS/ICS)

  • User Manual (English / Chinese & English bilingual)

    • Bluetooth pairing, connection and APP operation instructions

    • Bluetooth Logo position & compliance warning statement

  • Product Appearance Photos

    • Front & rear view, Bluetooth Logo close-up, label position

    B. Use Certified Bluetooth Module (EPL Listing, Simplified)

    1. Module Documents

    • Module model, QDID number, specification, antenna parameters

    • SIG authorization letter / technical authorization letter from module supplier

  • Integration Declaration

    • Declaration: No modification on module RF circuit, Bluetooth protocol stack / firmware

  • Model Difference Statement (for multiple models)

    • Confirm Bluetooth part consistency among different models

    3. Test Samples

    1. RF Test Sample: 1 unit

    • With RF cable / SMA interface, support DTM fixed frequency mode

  • Finished E-bike: 2 units

    • Mass production status with shell, label and Bluetooth Logo

    • Full function: normal pairing, connection and communication

  • Engineering Sample (Optional but recommended): 1–2 units

    • Convenient for disassembly, firmware replacement and debugging

    4. BQB Certification Lead Time

    1. Certified Module (EPL/QDL Listing, Most Common)

    • Lead time: 2～3 weeks

    • Process: Document submission → SIG review → Official listing

    • No testing required; can be finished in 1 week if QDID & authorization are complete

  • New Bluetooth Solution / Non-certified Module (QDID Full Test)

    • Lab testing: 2～4 weeks (RF, Protocol, Profile, Interoperability)

    • Rectification & retest: 1～2 rounds, 1～2 weeks per round

    • SIG review & listing: 1～2 weeks

    • Lead time: 4～8 weeks (one-time pass)

    5. Important Reminder for Australia Export (with AS 15194)

    • BQB is for Bluetooth compliance & trademark authorization; AS 15194 covers e-bike electrical safety, battery and EMC. Two sets of documents are independent and can be processed in parallel.

    • BQB certification is mandatory for e-bikes with BLE function (phone unlock, APP connection, firmware upgrade); not required if no Bluetooth function.
