Petroleum pipe is the core special pipe used in the whole industrial chain of petroleum and natural gas exploration, development and transportation. It is divided into two major categories: Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) and Line Pipe, manufactured in accordance with API and Chinese GB standards, featuring high strength, high toughness, corrosion resistance and reliable sealing.

3. Manufacturing Process and Executive Standards
3.1 Manufacturing Process
Seamless Pipe: Round billet heating → piercing → hot rolling / cold drawing → heat treatment → thread processing, applicable for high pressure and deep wells.
Welded Pipe (ERW/HFW): Steel strip forming → high frequency welding → heat treatment → thread processing, cost-effective, suitable for medium and low pressure wells.
3.2 Core Executive Standards
API 5CT: Specification for casing and tubing (internationally universal).
API 5B: Thread processing, gauging and inspection.
API 5L: Specification for line pipe (PSL1/PSL2).
GB/T 9711: Chinese line pipe standard (equivalent to API 5L).

Hardness: HRC ≤23 (sulfur-resistant steel), prevent stress corrosion cracking.
5.2 Corrosion Resistance
H₂S Resistance (NACE MR0175): C90/T95/P110 sulfur-resistant steel.
CO₂ Resistance: L80-13Cr / Duplex Steel.
Cl⁻ Resistance: High chromium / Nickel-based alloy.
5.3 Quality Inspection
