1. Product Definition

Alloy steel pipe is made of high-quality carbon steel with added alloy elements such as Chromium (Cr), Molybdenum (Mo), Nickel (Ni), Vanadium (V) and Manganese (Mn), manufactured by hot rolling or cold drawing process. Featuring high strength, high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, it is widely used in harsh working conditions of high pressure, high temperature and strong corrosion.

2. Main Materials & Chemical Composition

  • Chromium-Molybdenum Steel (High Temperature & High Pressure): 15CrMo, 12Cr1MoV, 12Cr2MoG, ASTM A335 P11/P22

5. Product Characteristics

  1. High Strength & Toughness: 30%-50% higher strength than ordinary carbon steel, excellent impact resistance and fatigue resistance, suitable for high-pressure heavy-duty occasions.

  2. High Temperature & Oxidation Resistance: Long-term stable operation at 500℃–800℃, dense Cr₂O₃ oxide film formed on surface to prevent high-temperature oxidation.

  3. Corrosion & Wear Resistance: Resistant to hydrogen sulfide, acid and alkali medium; high hardness and wear resistance to extend service life.

  4. Stable Low-temperature Performance: Special low-temperature steel maintains good toughness at -45℃ without brittle fracture.

6. Manufacturing Process

  1. Hot Rolling / Extrusion: Billet → Heating → Piercing → Rolling/Extrusion → Sizing → Cooling → Straightening. Suitable for large-diameter and thick-wall pipes with high production efficiency.

  2. Cold Drawing / Cold Rolling: Billet → Piercing → Annealing → Pickling → Oiling → Multi-pass Cold Drawing → Heat Treatment → Finishing. High dimensional accuracy and smooth surface, suitable for small-diameter and thin-wall pipes.
