Product Classification & Application
Petroleum pipes (OCTG) are the core tubular goods for oil and gas exploration and development, mainly including Casing, Tubing, Drill Pipe and Line Pipe, manufactured in accordance with API and other international standards, suitable for deep well, high pressure, sulfur-containing and other extreme working conditions.
CasingFunction: Support well wall, prevent collapse, isolate formation and protect wellhead.Types: Conductor Pipe, Surface Casing, Intermediate Casing, Production Casing.Specifications: Outer diameter 114.3–508mm, wall thickness 5–15.9mm, length 5.5–22.23m.
TubingFunction: Transport oil and gas from bottom hole to ground; also used for water injection and gas injection.Types: Plain End Tubing, External Upset Tubing (EU).Specifications: Outer diameter 48.36–114.3mm, wall thickness 4.83–9.52mm, length 6–12.5m.
Drill PipeFunction: Transfer torque, deliver drilling fluid, connect drill bit and surface equipment.Common Steel Grades: E75, X95, G105, S135.Specifications: Outer diameter 60.3–168.3mm.
Line PipeFunction: Long-distance transportation of crude oil and natural gas.Standard & Grade: API 5L, Steel Grade X42–X80, Caliber 2–56 Inch.

Normal Steel Grade: H40, J55, K55 (Shallow well & low pressure condition)
Medium & High Strength Grade: N80, L80 (Medium-deep well & moderate corrosion condition)
Sulfur Resistant Grade: C90, T95, P110 (H₂S/CO₂ contained acid working condition)
Ultra-high Strength Grade: Q125, V140, V150 (Ultra-deep well & high pressure condition)
Special Material: 13Cr, 22Cr (High chlorine & CO₂ environment), Bimetallic Lined Pipe (Severe corrosion environment)

Core Performance Requirements
High Strength: Yield strength 55–150ksi, Tensile strength ≥75ksi
High Collapse Resistance: Resist external formation pressure to avoid pipe deformation
Corrosion Resistance: Resist H₂S, CO₂ and Cl⁻; Sulfur resistant pipes comply with NACE MR0175 certification
Tight Sealing: API round thread and buttress thread with high pressure air tightness
Production Process & Delivery Condition
Process: Seamless pipe (Hot rolled / Cold drawn), High Frequency Electric Resistance Welded (ERW), Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welded (LSAW)
Heat Treatment: Normalizing & Tempering for below N80; Quenching and Tempering for L80 and above
Thread Processing: CNC threading with tolerance ±0.02mm, inspected by API 5B gauge
Anti-corrosion Coating: External coating (3PE/FBE), Internal epoxy coating, Copper plating & Zinc plating
Quality Inspection
Chemical composition analysis: C, Si, Mn, P, S, Cr, Mo, Ni and other elements
Mechanical property test: Tensile, Impact, Hardness and Flattening test
Non-destructive testing: Ultrasonic Test (UT), Magnetic Flux Leakage (EMI), Magnetic Particle Test (MT), Eddy Current Test (ECT)
Hydrostatic pressure test: Keep pressure for over 10 seconds without leakage
Thread inspection: Tooth height, pitch, taper, standoff distance and appearance
Packaging & Delivery
Packaging: Pipe end thread protector, bundled in 5–20 pieces each bundle, wrapped with moisture-proof film and steel strip
Marking: Steel grade, specification, standard, heat number, batch number, production date and manufacturer logo
Delivery Time: 5–7 days for conventional specifications
